Text Box: The new Fiat 500 was officially unveiled in Ireland at the glamorous and Italian styled Some Little Things Are Magic launch party at Ely Chq, in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in Dublin last Tuesday February 12th.
The uber chic DJ Mo Kelly looked after the funky and chic party soundtracks, entertaining the assembled crowd of invited guests, celebrities and members of the public throughout the night.

Keith Barry, the celebrity illusionist, performed a highly entertaining live magic show. This indoor show was broadcast on the giant outdoor public screen so that all inside and outside the launch venue could witness the magic of the event.

But the high spot of the night was an exciting and amusing film of Keith Barry performing his world famous Blindfold Drive illusion in the Fiat 500 at Punchestown Racecourse with top model Glenda Gilson aired on the big screens, which left the guests astonished! As the countdown to the car unveil approached its final seconds on the large screens, the smart illusionist and the beautiful model enjoyed driving into the venue in a pearlescent Fiat 500 amid great pomp and ceremony.

The final official element of the evening was the auction of a special Limited Opening Edition Fiat 500 for Temple Street Children’s University Hospital. The charity auction which had gone live on eBay.ie 10 days previously came to a close amid a frenzy of last minute bidding both online and from within the venue.

A generous anonymous bidder placed a last minute bid of €21,000 to secure No.279 of only 500 Limited Opening Edition Fiat 500. A cheque for €21,000 was presented to the charity by Fiat.

Present at the launch were actresses Tara Leniston, Amy Huberman and Leigh Arnold and a host of top Irish models including Glenda Gilson, Roberta Rowat, Rachel Wyse, Ruth O’Neill and Samina Zia enjoyed the party and fell in love with the stylish and eco – chic new Fiat 500. Sybil Mulcahy of TV3’s celebrity show Xpose interviewed the stars for broadcast on Wednesday 13th February. It was announced at the launch that Hollywood starlet Tara Leniston and RTE’s The Clinic star Amy Huberman would become Irish Brand Ambassadors for the Fiat 500. Meanwhile The Fiat HQ building was illuminated in red and the Fiat 500 logo projection marked the start of the launch celebrations.

It was a truly magical welcome for the arrival of the new Fiat 500 and soon this design masterpiece will be introduced to the public in another really glamorous city venue in a definitely stylish way…
